Just Off the Lunch Loop Trail System! Sleeps 8
Imagine waking up and looking out of the floor to ceiling windows at panoramic views of the Grand Valley, including the Grand Mesa, Mt. Garfield, the Bookcliffs, and the Colorado National Monument. On 2.5 private acres to the south and unlimited BLM lands to the north, here, you can enjoy the desert’s peace and tranquility.
Just outside your door is the famous Lunch Loops trail system where you can see the Holy Cross trail winding its way through the landscape below. Directly to the west is the Colorado National Monument, with its iconic sandstone monoliths towering up from the valley floor. It’s the kind of views and trail access that epic vacations with family or friends are made of!
Enter the house through the screened-in patio and walk into the great room which features an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and a bronze gas fireplace. Brand new contemporary furnishings will ensure you are comfy from the moment you arrive. Three (3) large HDTV’s are provided for your entertainment and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to put on a great meal at home.
Built to be accessible by wheelchair, this single-story retreat includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a walk-in shower in the master bath. Both bedrooms have new queen size mattresses. The sofas in both the living room and TV room/den also have pull-out memory foam mattresses for extra guests (all mattresses new as of December 2019).
The property also includes a secure storage shed to lock your valuable toys in while you stay (skis, mountain bikes, etc.) and has ample room for parking your vehicles, boat, or RV.
In the evening, gather around the back patio where a gas grill, patio set, fire pit, swing, and hammock are ready for your evening ahead. Relax while you watch the Bookcliffs turn every shade of red and pink and after dark, enjoy the stars and the glimmer of the city lights below.

My name is Michelle and I own CrashPad – a vacation rental management company serving Grand Junction, Fruita and Palisade, Colorado. I grew up in the area and feel very fortunate to get to call it home. I love cycling and want to share the great things our valley has to offer with the world. The pictures of this property are great but do not do this home justice! Even coming in at night this home was spectacular. The check-in process was super easy and Michelle was so helpful with absolutely everything. The home itself was clean and homely everything was easy to find. The Colorado Monument is in your back yard and the trails were awesome. First time in Colorado and we will definitely be back for more adventures.
The property was very comfortable, clean and the views of the valley below, from the floor to ceiling windows where amazing! I would get up in the middle of the night and just sit in the comfortable chairs and just take in the view of the town below. I kind of felt like a rich L.A. movie star with my big house overlooking
L.A. And if you need some peace and quite to collect your thoughts and not feel any sense of being rushed, you’ll get that here! Everything is well put together from the furniture, to the appliances, to comfortable beds and everything was nicely thought out in this place.
I really liked cooking in the very nice kitchen, watching TV on the very large flat-screen TV, while my family read a book or played games. The home was very open and although the kids had their own spaces, it seemed liked we where still close together. My boy wanted to stay a few more days and so did the rest of the family.
The town was just down the hill, so an easy trip into town for some morning coffee at the many coffee shops or a quick trip into town for some shopping. The old shops and markets on Main St. are a must go to if you visit.
